The Saltpond Skills-Apprenticeship Project

The people of one of the ancient communities in Ghana’s history , Saltpond, to benefit from various vocational and apprenticeship skills and trade under the auspices of Ernest De-Graft Egyir Foundation.

ERNEST DE-GRAFT EGYIR FOUNDATION is nonprofit charity foundation committed to provide support for underprivileged people. A social responsibility commitment from Ernest Egyir, the founder.

However, the foundation provides financial aid to Brilliant but needy University students and support vocational skills training for the youth.

The Foundation is currently sponsoring a number of University students from matriculation to graduation on various campuses in Ghana through the University Scholarship Project.

The Saltpond Skills-Apprenticeship Project which has began, aims at financing skilled apprenticeship programs for selected youth from Mfantseman to equip them for a better future.

Furthermore, the following programs have been proposed and will target school drop-outs and the youths.

• Tailoring• Hair Dressing and Beauty• Catering• Computer Literacy• Carpentry and Joinery• Brick laying and Construction• Plumbing• Electrical Wiring and Fittings and Others
