Ghana Football Association (GFA) has announced that the Ghana Premier League 2022/23 season will come off on Friday, September 9 to Monday, September 12, 2022 across all league centers in the country.
The plan for the 2022/23 league season was approved by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
The GFA earlier released September 4, 2022 as the date for the champion of champions clash between the league winner and the FA Cup winner to usher in the new league season, while the fixtures of the upcoming league season is expected to be released by Tuesday, July 26, 2022 to enable the various league clubs prepare for the season.
According to the GFA, dates for players’ registration have been communicated to the Premier League Clubs, Division One League Clubs and the Women’s Premier League Clubs.
The GFA further stated that the would a break in November and December to make room for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in which the Black Star of Ghana would be taking part.
The FA added that dates for Division One League and the Women’s Premier League will soon be communicated.
