The mayor of Cape Coast, Ernest Arthur together with some media houses organized the biggest and most patronized masquerade.
The event witnessed a massive participation of about 16 masquerade groups.
Some of the groups that represented includes Justice Masqueraders, Adzepa Masqueraders, Holy Cities Masqueraders, Odoyefew Masquerade Club, Panya Masqueraders, Sanato Masqueraders, Supreme Masqueraders Society Cape Coast Branch and others.
After series of appearances, dance moves and songs; Ohyewaakomem Masquerade group came first.
