The Omanhene of the Asebu Traditional Area, Okatakyie Amanfi VII and his elders have given 5000 acres of land in his traditional area to support the Year of Return.
The large acreage of land, according to the Chief is for investment purposes, make the returnees feel at home and set up businesses to develop the area.
The ‘Year of Return, Ghana 2019’ is a major landmark marketing campaign targeting the African – American and Diaspora Market to mark 400 years of the first enslaved African arriving in Jamestown Virginia.
